Written by: Vince Marcello, Jay Arnold

Based on: The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance by Beth Reekles

Cast: Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Taylor Perez, Molly Ringwald.

This movie starts as Noah boards the flight and a quick recap of how Elle and Noah spend 27 days together before Noah goes to Study at Harvard University in Boston. This part is about how they survived the long-distance relationship.

It’s a simple straight forward rom-com movie with all the special flavour of that Genre full of romance and tears. The Plot as follows: As Noah left for college Elle’s Peers constantly saying he would get some supermodel girlfriend there, Slowly Elle feels a little bit insecure about it and try to stalk (Cyber Stalk) Noah and finds about a hot girl. There a new Hot male in town Marco Pena as like all romcoms he has a super chiselled bod, A singer and sweet with girls. Elle and lee ask him to do Kissing booth like they did last year. Elle breaks the besties rules for Noah by applying to Harvard. Elle goes to Boston to meet Noah and gives her interview at Harvard. They have a good time there while leaving she finds something which makes her think chole and Noah are dating.

Here Lee’s girlfriend doesn’t like Elle hanging out with them She needs space for them. Elle doesn’t know about this one. You all know what would have been happened. Elle and Marco are trying to part in Dance show so Elle gets money for her college. All these points meet at the Thanksgiving day and everything goes haywire. As usual, everything goes right the at the day of Homecoming in the kissing Booth like the first part or else why they would have kept this title. You will get a feel-good ending.

The actors have done a good job. Joey King as Elle has done a great job. She’s so cute and romantic. The scenes where she acts possessive about Noah is good. All the actors are cute as we need for the Teen drama. The romantic portions are quite good.

There are more Cliche scenes which have come in n number of films. The proposal of Lee reminded me of Karthick proposal to Revathi in Mounaragam. The school microphone scene is a more cliched scene. There little bit laughter here and there. There are no hidden details in the movie which must be deciphered. If you had watched the first part you will be familiar with the character. If you have watched 1st part also no problem just treat this a new movie you won’t feel anything. That’s the speciality of this movie.

The creators could have put more efforts to create new sequences. On a whole, it would definitely please the rom-com and teen drama lovers. The creators have satisfies their set of audience. But it could have been much better in my point of view. . Verdict: A good movie for Rom-com lovers. Other genre fans won’t be satisfied watch it at your own risk. Bingeoprdia recommends this one only for the rom-com fan. Available on: Netflix.
