Sujata (Aditi Rao Hydari) the daughter of Mallikarjunan (Siddique) is a mute girl who teaches dance to the children in her neighbourhood. Eventually she meets a Sufi (Dev Mohan) and both fall into love. But Sujata's (Aditi Rao Hydari) father decides to marry her to Dr.Rajiv Nair (Jayasurya). And what happens next is described in the story.
Sufiyum Sujatayum is the first Malayalam movie to release on OTT platform. Although it is only a 2 hours movie it moves very slow. There is no story or character development. All Casts did their roles best. Especially Aditi Rao Hydari did a brilliant performance and it'll be one of her best in her career.
The cinematography was good .The Background score and Songs were outstanding. Being a Love drama genre movie, the love portions are lagging. Apart from Acting, Music and cinematography ,the other parts like story and love scenes pull downs the movie.
Verdict : The movie doesn't satisfy as the trailer did. Don't watch when you're bored because this movie bores you more.
